Supporting you on your Grief Journey

We held our first Grief Seminar here at the North Port Community U.C.C on November 16, 2015. Our guest speaker was Julia Ellifritt (LISW-S- Program/Education Director for Cornerstone of Hope in Independence, Ohio). Visit cornerstoneofhope.org to find out more. These events are open to the public, clergy, funeral directors, Hospice personnel, social workers, and each and every one who has experienced loss. Julia spoke on the following topics: Grief through the Holidays, Sudden Loss, and the many stages of grief. A candle lighting ceremony in memory of a loved with a framed photo was the opening part of the Seminar. Materials, Breakfast & Lunch plus a warm welcome to all in attendance was part of this free event.
